This fall I took a road trip to visit Maine! What a beautiful state. I stopped in Kennebunkport, Portland, Bar Harbor, and had a quick lunch in Kittery on the way home. My time was spent mostly consumed by eating lobster rolls and walking the quaint streets. Portland was filled with tons of great eateries and boutique shops. It wasn’t hard finding something I wanted to bring home. Bar Harbor was also filled with great shopping and we stopped at the flagship LLBean store. We hopped on a boat tour and saw lighthouses and tons of wild life. Finished our trip with a gorgeous dinner overlooking the harbor. Would absolutely go back and recommend to anyone!
One of my dearest friends, Kay, invited me to a long weekend in upstate, NY. Jumping at any chance I get to spend time with her and my other dear friend, Dylan, I immediately fill with excitement and anticipation. These two were constantly by my side for our time in collage and now that we have our own lives and jobs it's hard to all come together. This trip was exactly what I needed, fall foliage, great food, fire, beer, and of course friends. I love you Dylan and Kay!
Terrain has been on my list of places to go for quite some time now. Driving over an hour for a plant store is hard to convince anyone to take a road trip with you. But with some convincing I planned a trip with Lu and had such a amazing day! Long story short I totally recommend the trip! Terrain is pack full with beautiful plants, home decor, beauty supplies, jewelry, and icing on the cake a beautiful garden cafe! Everything you pick up is of quality and contained in beautiful packaging! Great place to pick up some new plants for the house or a great gift for a friend!

I believe travel is such an important aspect to life. Your exposed to different environments, cultures, and experiences that are priceless. This fall I was lucky enough to take the best vacation to date with my father. Colombia is a beautiful country and I could not be more proud of my family roots in Colombia.
I planned this trip to experience the country my father is from. I met family such as Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, all for the first time! It was a beautiful with eye opening experiences and of course delicious food! I will forever look back at this vacation with the fondest memories.
This past weekend I took a little road trip with my mom and sister to The New York Botanical Gardens. We went for the Frida Kahlo exhibit and stayed for the beautiful lush gardens and taco truck! Frida Kahlo has been an interest to me ever since I watched a movie on her back in college. Her fiery spirt is something every women should admire. I highly suggest watching the movie and taking a trip to the exhibit and gardens. It will be running until Nov 1st. 14 paintings and a small tribute/ replica of Casa Azul, Frida's home in Mexico. Always a wonderful time in the city.

One of my favorite pictures from a community service project I was involved in last year. Painting and restoring Allentown's Mercy Learning Center wooden train. This train was was so much fun to paint. The best part was to see all the kids smiling faces everyday as they awaited to play on the new playground toy!

This weekend I took a trip with my mom and younger sister to Frenchtown, NJ. Our main purpose was to check out the store Two Buttons, owned by author Elizabeth Gilbert. You may know her for her popular books, Eat, Pray, Love, The Signature of All Things, or Committed: A Love Story.
This trip wasn't my first time at Two Buttons, but each time I return I am always enchanted by all the authentic and beautiful keepsakes for sale. Lots of goods from Bali and India, such as tibetan colorful flags, paintings, furniture, statues, gems, jewelry, clothing, incense, the list goes on forever. While I was there I picked up a hand painted wooden bangle bracelet and a beaded ring.
I came to learn that this beautiful store is on the market! Elizabeth and her husband are selling the property to continue to travel and focus their time on seeing the world together. Its a beautiful thing, Travel, and wish them two happiness and a safe journey to where ever they end up.
Till then everything in the store is 50% off and if you are anywhere near, check out the awesome experience for yourself and of course your not going to be able to resist that sale! (I couldn't!)
A truly beautiful and refreshing dish, a remixed pasta e fagiolo. Turning the brothy pasta into a welcoming favorite seasonal dish: peas, mint, and ricotta.

Add wine, bring to a simmer, and cook until skillet is almost dry, about 5 minutes. Add broth and bring to a simmer. This past weekend I experienced my first concert at Madison Square Garden. Located in New York City, this venue is home to many NY sports teams and has had various huge names in music perform there. It was such a thrill. The music and the sound quality was spectacular. I would love to see more shows here soon.
As for the band, Alt-j's album has been on repeat for me since this past fall when it was released in its entity. Their sound and unique vocals from John Newman blew me away. Newman's voice is exactly what you here on the recorded album and I was more than pleased to find out so. Closing song was Breezeblocks and they killed it! Amazing performance by a creative and talented alternative band. I strongly suggest to go see them if you get the chance.Read More
